The HEAD of svn will build a root_fs and u-boot which will work for all these boards.  Once you have the new u-boot and root_fs, then using MMC or CF or ethernet functionality is just the same as with the single-function counterparts.  ie for CF you use the pcmcia stuff.

Are there any modications to do in the buildroot to use any combination of the gumstix boards ? Or does it fit any need of any official hardware ?

What about the modification needed to activate cfdisk instead of mmc ..?

Or perhaps you are on a 'make menuconfig' to do it ...? (I think I eard something like that somewhere)

Yup, these new boards are all on the 92-pin connector, so the 60-pin
will still work as before.
