About non counting RTC :

At first, "./i2c --count=8 0x68 readbyte 0" gave me the same constant value
after setting it with "./i2c --count=8 0x68 wb 0x0 0x3006000203030600", the RTC began to count !

I'm currently looking for a way to tell linux to use it ...

I've followed the instructions in the Wiki to add support for the DS1307 to
a 2.6.15 buildroot (r1307). It appears to work OK, except that no entry is
created in /dev (e.g. /dev/rtc or whatever) and thus S10clock fails. I have
tried to create an appropriate entry using mknod, but to no avail (I'm not
sure what the correct options are)?

Also, when I query the DS1307 using the I2C test utility linked on the I2C
quickstart page, I always get the same value: 0x80000001010003, shouldn't
the 'seconds' portion of this be changing?

The RTC module is connected to the I2C pins of the Robostix: SCL-RX, SDA-TX,
GND-GND and 5V - V, +5V power is being supplied to the RoboStix.

Any ideas or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
