For the application I have that uses opencv, I have a separate recipe that refers to the opencv libs.

Also I would like to use the Gumstix Overo Water COM to implement the JPEG
2000 Lossless image compression; can anyone please advise on which source
library to use? would OpenCV also be useful in this regards? I did a quick
research on OpenCV and found out that it can be used for Image Processing
such as: filters, Edge Maps, Transformation, and Segmentation but did not
mention anything about Image Compression. Or by saying "Filters", they are
also referring to Compression? 

Any suggestion will greatly be appreciated,
