Hi Neil,

that's what I did. I spent a bunch of time figuring out why "kernel-modules" doesn't work properly. After a fruitless day I got tired of that I added "kernel-module-can-dev" in the recipe, which works too.

I this is a bug in overo-2011.03 though.

So you've replaced

~/overo-oe/org.openembedded.dev/recipes/linux/linux-omap3/overo/defconfig

with your customized kernel configuration and can-dev.ko isn't
included in the image? Could you just include it after the fact (i.e.
copy to the rootfs).
