I turned this up using the commands you suggested:

Bus 001 Device 002: ID 13b1:0020 Linksys

A search for 13b1:0020 on google turns up "ralink" and "rt73" drivers, neither of which seem to be part of the Gumstix buildroot. Does it go by another name?

Thank you,

Bryan

You also need to install the appropriate driver (if one is available)
for the dongle in question.

To figure out which driver to use, you need to know which chipset to use.

Try doing:

mount -t usbfs none /proc/bus/usb
lsusb -v
