Hi Charles,

1) you enter U-boot in gumstix by pressing any key at your serial console during startup.
2) you use kermit to upload image to RAM.
detailed description can be found on gumstix.net;
see for example:

Best regards,
Alexey Polyudov

Subject: [Gumstix-users] I'm a newbie and need help

I’m a very experienced embedded engineer but not so on Linux based embedded boxes. I need to know how to load an image file to the gumstix over the UART port. Does anyone have an idea how this can be done?

Also, how do I browse the sourceforge storage? When I go to the website, I see containers but no messages.

Thanks –

C
