Just an update on the solution to this,
Verified the software from the pin mappings through to the drivers and user space calls... no problems there. Swapped the Overo over for a replacement one... same issue. Swapped to Tobi over for a replacement one... issue goes away and SPI works fine.
Upon inspection of the 70 pin connector, the pin for MOSI isn’t sprung up like the rest, it’s recessed down in the connector. RMA would seem to be the next course of action, but does anyone know what the 50Hz could be?
I’m using an Overo Fire with a Tobi attached. I’ve got SPIDEV enabled and the two touch screens disabled. I have both SPI1.0 and SPI1.1 in /dev by modifying board-overo.c. Both are running in SPI mode 3 at 0.5MHz.
The SPI_CLK line works fine, as do SPI1_CS0 and SPI1_CS1 in either unidirectional or bidirectional modes.
Unfortunately, I have a 50Hz output on the MISO line from the Tobi, and my MOSI doesn’t work (line stays high and doesn’t output the data sent to the device buffer.
Can anyone help me out?
