There have been a number of posts regarding wireless and the Overo fire.
Also if you want t compile native code, it is probably easier to just add it to the image recipe
and re-build the image with the code already installed.
There were some links on the wiki telling how to do this. Not sure if they are still there …
You want “task-native-sdk” as a minimum. There is also additional support for Perl, Java, etc.

Hi i am new to gumstix
Made my bootable sd card for my overo fire, and i would like to install gcc compiler for native compilling. From what i read this can be done easily if overo is connected to network by wifi(i have summit board) and then download files.easily. But i have spent a week on trying to configure it with no luck. Would appreciate any help
