[Seagull-users] Combined scenarios?

Hi,

First of all, thanks for the wonderful and free tool!

I am trying to simulate a Diameter Gx server (PCRF) to test an
in-house Gx client (PCEF). The basic message flows are:

Client (PCEF)                   Server (PCRF)
==========                   ==========
CER             ---------------->
                    <--------------    CEA
CCR             ----------------->
                   <-----------------  CCA

Sometimes, the server also initiates message to client:

                    <---------------- RAR
RAA              ----------------->

I can create two scenarios (cca-ccr) and (rar-raa), but how do I
combine them so that they share the same transport? Or is it possible
to build a single scenario file to cover both?

PS: It would be nice if seagull can also support some logic
(if-then-else). Any plan for logic support? Or if I want to add logic
support to seagull, what would be the starting point?

To match your query you can define a default section on client scenario=20
to answer to the RAR messages.
Please refer to the documentation:

The conditional switch is on the pipe, but without any date for the =
delivery.

Thanks for your advice. However, the client is an in-house product.
What I ended up doing was to create another <send> block on the server
scenario to send out RAR. So, it looks something like this on the
server scenario:

<!------------------------------------------------------------------------>
<receive ...>
   <command CCR>
</receive>

<send ...>
  <command CCA>
</send>

<send ...>
   <command RAR>
</send>

<default ...>
  <receive>
      <command RAA>
  </receive>
</default>
<!----------------------------------------------------------------------->

I would like to send RAR only once in a while (for example, send an
RAR for every 10 CCAs) but don't know if it is possible. I tried to
put <wait-ms value="5000"> between the two <send> blocks but it only
works for the first iteration of the main loop... Any ideas?
