Hi, BTW, RAR cannot be generated by a client, it is always sent by a server, and the client replies with RAA. For your task I'd consider using <default> section http://gull.sourceforge.net/doc/core.html#scen_default Just an example: <default> <receive channel="channel-1"> <command name="DWR"></command> <action> <store name="HopByHop" entity="HbH-id"> </store> <store name="EndToEnd" entity="EtE-id"> </store> </action> </receive> <send channel="channel-1"> <action> <restore name="HopByHop" entity="HbH-id"> </restore> <restore name="EndToEnd" entity="EtE-id"> </restore> </action> <command name="DWA"> <avp name="Result-Code" value="2001"> </avp> <avp name="Origin-Host" value="server.name"> </avp> <avp name="Origin-Realm" value="server.realm"> </avp> </command> </send> </default> <default> <receive channel="channel-1"> <command name="DPR"></command> <action> <store name="HopByHop" entity="HbH-id"> </store> <store name="EndToEnd" entity="EtE-id"> </store> </action> </receive> <send channel="channel-1"> <action> <restore name="HopByHop" entity="HbH-id"> </restore> <restore name="EndToEnd" entity="EtE-id"> </restore> </action> <command name="DPA"> <avp name="Result-Code" value="2001"> </avp> <avp name="Origin-Host" value="server.name"> </avp> <avp name="Origin-Realm" value="server.realm"> </avp> </command> </send> </default> Regards, Anton 2016-12-20 12:19 GMT+03:00 SUDHAKAR REDDY GAJJALA < SUD...@ca...>: > Hi, > > I am working on Seagull where my client and Server are running in a > different servers. Hi, I am working on Seagull where my client and Server are running in a different servers. I have created a scenario file with the below scenario Client Server CER CEA CCR-I CCA-I CCR-U CCA-U RAR RAA CCR-T CCA-T My scenario file is in the above order. Due to some requirements, I had my Seagull server to respond with the particular response instead of going sequentially. Is there a way seagull identify the request and send response based on the request.. I mean to say when server receives CCR-U , it should respond with CCA-U. for some other subscriber, if it receives CCR-T , seagull should respond with CCA-T message. Any help is appreciated. Thanks, Sudhakar |

Hello, I wonder what can be wrong that my seagull clientis stoping the test after 60 seconds exactly. The value set in the number-calls param seems ignored. I searched the docs and seems that such param should rule? Any pointer on how I can have tests running for hours in seagull client? ThanksLuis |

Hello, I have been using Seagull for the last 15 -20 days and I find it very useful. So far using the documentation and google has been enough. Now I hit a problem. I have a scenario where I have a Vendor Specific AVP that I need to send in a request. Such AVP should look like this: {TG-Calling-Party-Number, vendor=Acme }, (OctectString) = Us?G Where Us?G is the is a phone number formatted according to the "Calling Party Number" (section 3.10) from the CCITT Rec Q.763 specification. Any Idea what could be the easiest or most convenient way of having Seagull sending numbers in such format? Note: So far I have sent AVP's that contain numeric or alphanumeric contents. This is the first time I have the need of sending a binary encoded value. Help is really appreciated. Many thanks in advance/Luis |

Hi Shishir, You can just add new <receive>..<send> sections where analyze what kind of CCR came. E.g. in an example below CCR-I received, CCA-I replied, then CCR-U(1) received and replied (notice <command> section where CC-Request-Type = 2 is analyzed), and finally CCR-T received and answered. Hi, I am new to seagull.Could any one please help the config which needs to be used for seagull performance testing . My requirement is to sent 10000 req / Sec. I wanted to generate Diameter Traffic(ACR & ACA). Seagull client would be running from a windows machine.I am getting the flow control error when i changed the call-per-sec parameter in seagull. Is there any way i can achieve more than 10000 req/sec and how can i validate the same in the logs. Any kind of help would be really appreciated. I would argue that because the CEA is seen in Wireshark, does not indicate that seagull actually recognizes it. If not already, I'd turn the logging up to A and verify that your CEAs are indeed recognized, etc. Assuming that CCRI-s are being sent, I don't think that's the issue. I've seen people trying to fit all of these messages into the traffic scenario, with varying results. My speculation is that if you removed the wait, you still wouldn't see the DPRs sent consistently(mentioned because they're last in that long line of <traffic>). If this is the only way you can do the scenario(and anyone feel free to correct me here): - Remove any uneeded AVPs from the actual traffic section. - Increase the buffer sizes in the configuration file(init-args), similar to: decode-buf-len=10000;read-buf-len=10000 To test the theory, within the traffic stanza, remove all except for the first CCR/CCA. Once you're satisfied that everything is working (CER/CEA, DWR,DWA) correctly, incrementally add back the other calls until you find the limit of consistent traffic. Omar, <default> works for all "unknown" messages (see documentation), so order of the section is not important, it applies anyway, so maybe I was wrong saying put it before <init>. Just try. It works in my scenarios for years. Regards, Anton.
