It is missing from https://sourceforge.net/projects/guliverkli2/files/DirectShow%20Filters/ and it had the best sound quality of all the releases. Thanks
Because of that MPC 184.108.40.206 (released 6 Nov 2005) is so great for listening to Mp3s - but it an obsolete buggy version. It would be great to have the stand alone filter in that version to be able to launch it in more modern directshow players.
You mean this?

I am actually looking at this section https://sourceforge.net/projects/guliverkli/files/MPA%20Decoder/ - it has MPA Decoder 220.127.116.11, 18.104.22.168, 22.214.171.124 but it is missing the
stand alone filter MPA Decoder 126.96.36.199. This is the decoder that is in MPC 188.8.131.52.
Just try playing your MP3s in MPC 184.108.40.206 on a good sound system (select the internal mp3 source and internal mp3 transform filter )- you will be amazed by the sound quality - clear lyrics and tight bass
That's the file I am looking for - the stand-alone version of the decoder that's included in MPC 220.127.116.11
The later versions are louder and boomier but the sound is not as clear and as enveloped as in ver 18.104.22.168
