#509 RealMedia Splitter - SMOOTH encode
I recently downloaded and installed the RealMedia splitter directshow filter, which works generally really well. I have tried a variety of different RealMedia files, which appear to work fine within RealProducer for re-encoding.
I have found one type of RealMedia file that it doesn't read correctly. If the file has been encoded using the "SMOOTH" setting within RealProducer, then the directshow filter thinks it's audio only (rather than audio and video).
I have attached an example file which demonstrates this.
If you try a RealMedia file that has been encoded using the "Normal" video motion, then your filter works perfectly. I am very impressed at what you are able to do, especially as Real don't produce a directshow filter themselves!
