I am displaying video on a 16:9 LCD TV connected to the PC through a VGA port. The highest resolution I have managed to get to work on this monitor is 1280x1024. This requires an aspect ratio correction for video to appear correctly. I have tried using the "View > Video Frame > Correct Monitor/Desktop AR Diff" option, but it does nothing. (Anyway, since my PC does not know what the real aspect ratio of the monitor is, I didn't expect it to work.) I have also tried playing with Pan&Scan settings, with moderate success - Pan&Scan is not designed for this, and often crops parts of the image or adds black bars on the top/bottom or sides.

Any suggestions? Thanks!
