Maybe its just old age, but i cant seem to find how to control the brightness on media player classic, feels like ive searched all options, anyone able to help with this minor request?
MPC is showing its age or haven't you noticed? ;-)
No, you can't alter the brightness, gamma or contrast either.
You can't alter them from MPC itself, but you can do it through codec's settings. Just right-click on codec's icon in the tray (ffdshow, DivX, or whatever is used) and search from there.
In ffdshow's Properties, under Picture Properties, you can use the "Luminance offset" value to increase or decrease video brightness levels.
(Go to MPC's Play-Filters menu during playback to find ffdshow, assuming it's installed.)
