I have been using Media Player Classic for quite some time (multiple versions) under a Windows XP (multiple service packs / installations) on a Dell 700m laptop. When I pause media player classic, sound artifacts are left on my headphones until another application or media player classic uses the sound card.
It would be great of Media Player Classic could place silence on the sound output during a pause action.
One workaround I have been using is to lower the volume, pause, then raise the volume back up and resume when desired.
