#760 MPC does not remember settings in vista64

I installed VistaCodecs_v470 with x64Components_v149.

I like to change settings in the options like "open a new player for each media file" or disable the "boost" in the audio switcher submenu (very important for me, as the boost makes the sound clip on my machine). But, MPC does not remember these settings, and uses standard setting each time on re-opening.
