I ran into trouble and after installing the latest Ubunto (11.04) Grub comes up with an error 15. This means I have neither windows nor linux available to work with, and after being unable to configure grub myself (noob) I had the brilliant idea to search for independent self configuring bootloaders! I have been doing this while booted from the Ubunto CD in trial mode! It appears that nobody at gujin has thought about that possibility yet or it is my lack of know how that makes me think this could be done… Can it!?
Gujin can boot Ubuntu either on hard disk or on CD/DVD, but is not mainstream enough (i.e. is not used by enough people) to be considered for inclusion in the standard package set offered by Ubuntu.
The only way to change that is more people trying it, and then more people requesting its inclusion in standard distributions…
