I have tested GujChat 0.9.8 @ Windows XP, Pentium 4 2.6, 512 ram.
Four hundred users sending random messages between 0-9 secs in 3 different rooms were ok.
Most resources (90%) were being suck due to the clients.... so if you test it in another machine (client!=server) it should get 9 times more users..... going up to 3600 users in 3 rooms.
If the users are in more rooms it should get even more users as it would be less message processing....
