A browser based version of GuitarTeX has been added to the GuitarTeX homepage. There is no need to install anything on your local PC. Just use your browser to receive printable output of your chord files.

GuitarTeX now has an install script. GuitarTeX is split into an editor (guitartex) and a command line filter program (gtx2tex). guitartex acts as a gui for gtx2tex. New command line option to create output without chords (lyrics only). Integrated musical typesetting with MusixTeX, MusixLyr and Tabdefs. Chord symbols are created with gchord package from Kasper Peeters.
PDF output creates bookmarks and thumbnails. Added Brazilian language.

GuitarTeX now has its own tablature management to create good looking guitar or bass tablature instead of ascii tablature. Improved handling of LaTeX errors: the program no longer stops if an error during execution of LaTeX occurs. New include directive supports creating songbooks from separate files. Support for the define directive for printing chord symbols at the end of a song. GuitarTeX now prints a chord table at the end of a songbook.
Version 2.3 is not a stable version, so you should only use working copies of your files! I am implementing support for the "define" directive of the original chord. See README file for details.
