Have you descided yet as to what you are going to do re: the problems GCC
2.96 seems to have compiling the macros used in the current version of the
code, you could just releace it and say it doesn't work fully with GCC 2.96,
at least in the first releace, at least once we get some code publicly
available then there's a chance of getting more people on the project.
 
GCC 2.96 is still considered to be a development releace at this point, and
has several known bugs, so it might be worth testing the code on the latest
stable releace of gcc, 2.95.3, since the code compiled and functioned
correctly on the version of GCC distributed with the previous edition of the
mandrake distribution.
