Problems with Gutcheck should be reported to the Gutcheck project. This is the Guiguts bug tracker.
PS. Note that Gutcheck doesn't have view options, so you probably want to be a bit more precise in your description before you repost. Also I can't reproduce the problem you describe, so you should describe in more detail how to do that.
If you would like to refer to this comment somewhere else in this project, copy and paste the following link:
Oops, the Gutcheck project <gutcheck.sourceforge.net> does not have ticket reporting abilities. Also the gutcheck project does not have a Gui so the Gui I see in Guiguts must be from Guiguts.
So to duplicate this problem load the attached file I created.
Press F6 to start Gutcheck.
The top right hand button on the gutcheck gui window is labeled "GC View Options." Press it.
This opens the Gutcheck View Options gui window. At the bottom press the button labeled "Hide All." Then in the option list uncheck "Forward Slash" to enable viewing the Gutcheck Forward slash errors.
Switch back to the Gutcheck menu and click the top left hand button labeled "Re-run Gutcheck."
Finally note that there are 16 queries or lines identified with issues:
If the intent is to identify all of the Forward slashes then Gutcheck missed the slashes on 12 of the lines in this file with slashes. (I would prefer that Gutcheck identified all forward slashes in the file.)
If the intent is to identify only lines with invalid out of line markup then Gutcheck should not have identified the even lines 14 through 28 as they are valid. And
the invalid markup in lines 33, 34, 36, 37, 39, and 40 was missed completely. (I should mention that I frequently see examples of invalid markup such as these after a rewrap. Some are caused due to not having a blank line before the opening or after the closing markup. Some are apparently due to nesting of out of line markup, e.g the following.

I can reproduce this but I'll repost it to the Gutcheck project.
