A new version of the Guido Engine is available.
The main changes are:
A new version of the GuidoLib and Guido applications is available. It comes with a new Java JNI interface and with externals for Max/MSP and for Pure Data.
The Guidolib v1.37 is available from the download section.
Note that it comes also with new releases of the Qt applications.
The Guidolib project has moved to svn. This change has been the opportunity to restructure the source tree, thus the svn tree differs from the cvs tree to a great extend. This is also why the svn tree has been imported from scratch i.e. without conversion from the cvs tree, thus loosing the cvs history. For this reason and also because not all the files have been transfered to svn, the cvs repository will remain accessible but further developments will be made on svn.
Guido GMN viewers for MacOS-X and Windows have been released. Their goal is to render or print scores with automatic music formatting. They are based on the new GuidoLib Engine version 1.2.
The GMN format is a formal language for score level music representation. It is a plain-text, human-readable and platform independent format capable of representing all information contained in conventional musical scores.
