Because it's already possible to specify dotted notes by their duration, 
it would be only some kind of "nice" feature. But it's not absolutely 
necessarily needed.

I guess there are more important things at the moment. We should add a 
remark into the GUIDO spec "dotted notes can be represented by a 
duration without dots....".
