I found this little app really good. I'd like to suggest, if I may, a couple of bits that may make it even better:
Show a pop up windows when a ping fails. This way the user does not need to have the main window open all the time, it can be minimized.
Keep sounding the notification at an interval chosen by the user so that the user will know a ping has failed in case the user missed the initial warning.
Ability to show "red" or other noticeable colored icon in the notification bar when a device went offline, so that the user has that warning as well. This can be disabled in case the user has too many devices monitored.
Keep up the great work on this, it's really good!

We like the sound of Carlos' first and second suggestions and we'd also add the following to the 'wishlist':-
i) Windows installer please.
ii)Ability to rRun minimised from the start. We tried seting this via a shortcut but it doesn't really work.
iii) Option to allow only one instance.
iv) Maybe add portscan.
Superb utility - can't believe we only found it just today.
Nice job so far and thank you. Keep it up.

Further to your suggestion, I will try implement them. I need to think on Carlos Nieto sugestions too. I have had discused with him a lot time ago and I need to refresh our discussion.
Give me some time to improve GPM, I think that I will upload new version in circa about two or three weeks.

Yes, on first ping show a popup message once, which stays until the user accepts it. Should only be one pop up if at least one ping has failed after the defined threshold. For example, in my case I monitor 2 PCs that I need them to be online all the time. If the PC goes offline when I was away (at home during the night, for example) i will miss the sound notification, so the next morning when I'm back it would be good to see a pop up saying it went offline so I can go check on it. This could be optionally disabled if it's too annoying for a device that changes status continuosly.
This item could be an alternative to the popup. Play sound if the ping failed after the defined threshold and keep playing that sound at intervals defined by the user (for example, every minute, or 5 minutes, or 10, etc), until the device is back online. Thanks! I read the discussion!
Ideally, the icon would stay "red" until the user has accepted that he/she has checked on the device that failed to ping after the defined threshold.
Thank for your reply! Regardles of these suggestions going to the app, just want to say again that it is a great little up as it is!
Thank you for the great work.
Regards,
Carlos.
