#22 Parse error w/unexpected T_IF

Im using the debugger with Quanta Plus on osCommerce
(still default) and where the products should be on the
left and right sides of the index page - I get "Parse
error, unexpected T_IF, expecting T_STRING or
T_VARIABLE or '$' in /var/www/Gubed/Gubed.php(81):
eval()'d code on line 68' (where the line no changes
for each displayed item) appears in wether ran on
LAN-client or the server.

Cannot find any reference for Gubed error messages
