#124 Only case-sesitive search with German umlauts

an user of the Debian package reported what follows:

Severity: important

Hi,

I can only do a case-sensitive search on German umlauts. E.g., when I look for the band "Die Ärzte", guayadeque doesn't find anything
if I search for "ärzte".
