Hostname Dont IP in user-maping.xml

    Hi, when I use for hostname param a Name NetBIOS for a machine in the net, dont connect to the host, only with IP address,

    What can I do?

    Just add to the hosts file of your system the netbios hostname that you want.
    In Linux systems this file is usually "/etc/hosts". So just add a line with the hostname and the IP. Now you can write the hostname into the user-mapping, since your system will resolve that hostname into the IP you have provided.

    NOTE: the Windows machine you want to connect to should have a static IP address. Otherwise, you'll have to update the hosts file everytime the IP changes.

    You may need something like Samba that can resolve NetBIOS names…at least I think Samba can do that :)
