We're having a discussion elsewhere about various remote desktop solutions and the desirability of traversing the firewall without port forwarding. Does Guacamole accomplish firewall traversal without the help of a proxy/STUN server? If so, how?
Guacamole does not use anything special to traverse firewalls. All communication with the Guacamole server simply takes place over HTTP (or HTTPS), which most firewalls allow.
