#67 problem with set program

I used the program set that comes with the distribution (/examples) to remove a translated-rescaled sphere (smallsphere.gts) from the non-translated sphere (sphere.gts), thus creating a sphere with a cavity (bowl.gts). The geometry is fine when viewed with gmsh (after doing a gts2stl) but the gts file produced by set is not pure ASCII. Can you help? How isn\\\'t it producing a simple ASCII output? I'm doing ./set diff sphere.gts smallsphere.gts > bowl.gts

can't send the file (gzipped is over than the allowed 256k)
