[Gtkwave-users] GTKWave "not looking right" on a new install

Hi,

I'm setting up a new laptop and for some reason, gtkwave isn't looking right.
See the attached screenshots for what it looks like vs what I expect
it to look like.

There is a giant useless bar on top and then the menu items are not
menu items but a popup menu of one of the icon ... and even the icons
look wrong.
It's not good ...

How do I get it to look like it should be?
