Basically, if I had such a new device in my hands, what I'd do is: * assuming songs were added to it using iTunes, I'd save the output of ls -lR /media/ipod for later * assuming the previous step shows there are iPod_Control/iTunes/iTunesSD and iPod_Control/iTunes/iTunesDB (or iTunesCDB) files, I'd save them for later to look at them (and if there are .itdb file, I'd save these too) * I'd check if an iPod_Control/Device/SysInfoExtended file has been created and save it too * finally, I'd try accessing it using libgpod 0.7.94 or newer Giving us a way to access all the info I said I'd save in the 1st 3 steps would already be really useful to try to figure out whether the device has a chance to be easily supported or not.
