Any thoughts on when a libgpod 0.4.1 release might happen?
I know that Fedora is looking to update but would prefer not to until
0.4.1 is out with the soname version bumped. That way a compat
package can be pushed to anyone that's using 0.3.x and can't/won't
rebuild (yeah, I know, there probably aren't any of those people out
It seems Ubuntu was waiting but decided to release 0.4.0 even with the
API/ABI changes using the reasoning that not much depended on the
older libgpod and that the improvements were worth any trouble it
might cause for binaries built against 0.3.x.
Not sure if Debian is in a similar situation or not. If Frank
Lichtenheld is on this list or not. If so, maybe you can say if
Debian's going to release 0.4.0 or wait until the soname is bumped?
