I installed gtkpod-0.99.12 and libgpod 0.6.0  and my kernel is 2.6.22.14

The build of libgpod and gtkpod seems to have gone without problems.

Gtkpod starts up but when I try to load my iPod nano 8GB (special red edition)
model A1236
I get the following error:

gtkpod: symbol lookup error: gtkpod: undefined symbol: fstat

Here is fdisk info on the device:

Disk /dev/sdc: 7952 MB, 7952142336 bytes

Units = cylinders of 6944 * 4096 = 28442624 bytes

Partition 1 has different physical/logical endings:

Any ideas?  Dmesg has an error about vfat for this device but I can list the
contents on command line.
