Thanks for your answers.

1. The amarok solution: How can I do this? I mean, how can I write them to my ipod database?

2. The python script solution: when I run "python coverart_fetch.py", i get:
thomas@thomas-desktop:~/libgpod-0.4.0/bindings/python/examples$ python coverart_fetch.py
Traceback (most recent call last):
  File "coverart_fetch.py", line 26, in ?
    import gpod
ImportError: No module named gpod

Thanks,

Thomas

Not exactly what you're asking for, but libgpod comes with a python
script called covertart_fetch.py (in libgpod/bindings/python/examples)
which will attempt to automatically fetch cover art for songs in your
ipod database from amazon (you need an amazon web services key first
though).

Hope that helps,

Christophe
