Sorry, now that I look, I don't know what revision of the 6th gen I have. It could be the 0th or the 2nd based on the capacity. I suspect I got the 0th. I doubt the on-disk format has changed from one to the other, but I can't assure you that.

Thanks - which Generation is the iPod Classic? As far as I know, there are several verions of the Classic out by now.

According to Wikipedia the 160 GB model only exists in 6th gen. That's what I have. 5th gen 30 GB also works.
