I would agree with you but the ownership of my android phone is not for
that reason so it would be disingenuous for me to endorse your comments.

I own an 80GB ipod that contains all my music. I own an android phone to
read emails and make phone calls. Happy to have two devices in my pocket
;)

Ditto. I would love to have an open (as in "not proprietary") portable music player with 160+ GB of relatively cheap storage, if anybody who can make it happen is reading :)
