#323 Segmentation fault when opening ipod at start of gtkpod

When starting gtkpod with ipod touch mounted with ifuse, the window appears and immediately disappears; launching in terminal gives "Segmentation fault" message, and gdb says that it does happen in g_type_check_value_holds () from /usr/lib/libgobject.

I have a the patch from James Burton: https://github.com/jburton/libgpod/commit/342d49c5577682dd4fba35bfd5fb15f7287c7d5a

It does work for me; I have attached a minimized version of it (removed indent-only changes)
