The program is very nice, but I'm missing several
things I got used to when using ACDSee back on old Windows.

I had a habit of compressing the image directories into
zip archives with `store only' compression. This way,
the archive file was recognized as an image file, and
thus had it's thumbnail (usually showing the first
image in the archive) generated. That made managing the
folders simplier.

Another option is what the zgv does -- create
thumbnails for directories (zgv makes a thumbnail out
of 4 images in given directory).

It would be very nice if the GImageView could make
thumbnails for dircetories/archives, or at least
display the thumbnails already generated for them.
