When Browsing the "Propaganda All" directory one keeps getting:
IMLIB ERROR: SHM can't get SHM Identifier for Shared Pixmap
Wrapper
Falling back on Shared XImages
IMLIB ERROR: SHM can't get SHM Identifier for Shared XImage
Falling back on XImages
On the command prompt and the refresh of the screen is very slow.
I'm using Mandrake 9.0.

I downloaded the archive and extracted it, but files under
"All" directory
are symbolic link, and these links points wrong path.
So, gimv cannnot read any files, but I didn't receive such a
error.
Next, I moved other directories under "All" directory, and
tried to read again.
In this case, gimv can read all files without any error and
warnning.
I also tested with Mandrake 9.0 and Imlib.
Could you tell me how did you install gimv and Propaganda?

You have to set the following symbolic links in the All directory:
lrwxrwxrwx 1 seminars seminars 7 Aug 20 15:32 Vol1 -> ../Vol1
lrwxrwxrwx 1 seminars seminars 8 Aug 20 15:32 Vol10 -> ../Vol10
lrwxrwxrwx 1 seminars seminars 8 Aug 20 15:32 Vol11 -> ../Vol11
lrwxrwxrwx 1 seminars seminars 8 Aug 20 15:32 Vol12 -> ../Vol12
lrwxrwxrwx 1 seminars seminars 8 Aug 20 15:32 Vol13 -> ../Vol13

Hmmm... I did it, but I can't receive such a error.
BTW, have you compiled gimv against gdk-pixbuf?
Gimv supports both Imlib and gdk-pixbuf, but I
recomend to use gdk-pixbuf because Imlib is treated
as obsolete by GNOME project.
Usually gimv use gdk-pixbuf when gdk-pixbuf-devel
is detected by configure script, but it is not
installed by detault on Mandrake Linux.
So you should install gdk-pixbuf-devel package
first if you want to compile it against gdk-pixbuf.

Hmmm... Now I don't receive an error either. I guess using gdk-pixbuf
instead of imlib solve the problem. Thanks for your help.

This happens only with the "Thumnail" view.
