#2 Slow typing in message composer

When I compose a message, filling in the To: and Subject: fields goes fine, however, when typing the actual message, I can type a whole sentence, but gtkmail will take a long time to put it on screen (Goes at approx. 1 char per second)
Also, CPU usage goes up to 70% (On a PPro200) while it's putting the characters in the window.

I love the rest of the program though. Only one that is 100% compatible with pine (That I've found). So I can telnet to my machine and read mail with pine, or, when I'm on my own machine, use gtkmail for nicer interface.
