Please be more specific. Any information displayed in the Chat window
and your console would be helpful. Server-side logs would be
especially helpful. Describing the symptoms does not help very much.

Hi all,

I have some problems with gtkhx, when i try to connect to some servers,
i had been disconnected that just after the connecting process, i have a
friend who create a login for me, i have some rights to access to his
server and the problem repeats...

I run on powerpc arch and i use debian/sarge 's package of gtkhx wich is
the last 0.9.3.

Can anyone tell me how to fix this problem ?

Getting this error on make:
about.c:20: gtk/gtk.h: No such file or directory
make[2]: *** [about.o] Error 1
make[1]: *** [all-recursive] Error 1
make: *** [all-recursive-am] Error 2

I'm assuming it's something simple since darwin is in the known hosts and I
compiled gaim (which relies on gtk also) already.

I'm having a lot of trouble with Gtkhx. Whenever I try to save my options the 
following appears on the command line:

Gtk-WARNING **: invalid cast from `GtkCheckButton' to `GtkEntry'

Gtk-CRITICAL **: file gtkentry.c: line 535 (gtk_entry_get_text): assertion 
`GTK_IS_ENTRY (entry)' failed.

Also the program doesn't show any sites I've saved. I installed the newest 
version and then then the CVS version and the problem still occurs. I also 
tried deleting all the configuration files but that didn't help either. I'm 
using Mandrake 8.2.

If anyone could help me I'd greatly appreciate it.

Hi guys,

I'm writing this to notify you of two things. First of all, I used to
make new version announcements to this list, but I've created a
gtkhx-announce list just for that purpose. So, if you're interested in
receiving mailings from me when there's a new version out, you're
welcome to sign up.

Second of all, I've started an IRC channel on irc.openprojects.net
#gtkhx for, well, GtkHx obviously. It's funny that I have an IRC
channel for discussing Hotline-related things, when I can just run a
Hotline server ... Well, I do run a Hotline server, but I'm most often
on IRC anyway. I think it's best to have a discussion platform for
this software that doesn't depend on this software/protocol, anyway.
So, feel free to join and talk about GtkHx or just lurk.
