I use it for the visual interface for an artificial life simulation.

we use gtk2hs on ubuntu and windows xp with great success. i cannot understand the negative comment - we had no problem with installing using ghc 6.10.3 (which is not really outdated) and plan to move to 6.12, using the availabel tools.
