Hi all, Quick question - is gtkbuilder supported? I couldn't find any reference to it in the documentation, but I wasn't really sure where to look. Of course, it's easy enough for me to use glade instead if not. --Chris Casinghino |

Nobody has looked into gtkbuilder yet. I thought gtkbuilder is now also used to create widget hierarchies from Glade files. Obviously I'm not really in the know on what gtkbuilder is all about. Is it useful without Glade? Axel. |

As Gour said, glade (the program) can create output in either format, but glade (the library) is only needed for glade-format files; gtkbuilder doesn't need extra libs because it lives within gtk. The intention is to eventually phase out glade in favor gtkbuilder (but in practice I suspect this will take quite a while). Anyway, just thought I'd check, thanks for the info. --Chris |

FAQ about GtkBuilder: http://www.micahcarrick.com/05-30-2008/gtk-builder-libglade-faq.html Glade supports both formats.
