I'd like to see some work on it too.  One reason is glade: They are no longer really developing the version that works with gtk2 (which I think was glade 2.8).  Newer versions of glade produce GtkBuilder files that work with gtk3 but not gtk2.  Plus there's this new GOI/GIR system for automating language bindings to GObject-based libraries, and it would be good to move gtk2hs to use that.
