Here's a patch by Kevin Ryde to add Glib::ParamSpec::value_validate and
values_cmp. It's not quite working yet, as shown by the failing unichar tests.
(Note that the patch is encoded as utf-8. Both, gedit and emacs seem to
misdetect this.)
