I tried to put the patch on SF but it is too big (256k limit) and it is 800K
as a gzip file.
Do you have any suggestions? 

I could provide a patch from the gtk1-win glib which can be applied to glib
2.2.3 it is pretty small 90k (as txt), and a second patch to fix the
rejects?
