Using XP with the default XP theme, open a gtk-wimp application
with a menu and open Notepad. Compared the two menus. There's
a black border around the the gtk-wimp application's menus,
whereas there is just a colored border in XP. This makes the
menus much more "harsh" and less native-looking.
Also, the icon sizes aren't quite right so the menus do not have
enough text spacing between items.

the icon sizes probably correct. and there's no way that i'm
aware of to put more space between the menu items.
the border around the menus isn't gtk-wimp's fault, it's a
gtk 2.4 issue as far as i can tell. if you know of a way to
turn it off, i'd like to know.
