[gtk-gnutella-devel] Compile problems

I'm having trouble building the gtk-gnutella package.  Error messages 
are like so:

ERROR: Cannot compile against GLib. Library or header files might be 
missing.
ERROR: Cannot compile against Gtk+. Library or header files might be 
missing.

I'm guessing that there's some libraries that I need to have installed 
that I'm missing, but I'm not clear which ones.  Can someone please advise?
