Regarding favourite servers, you can put a list of peer
addresses into ~/.gtk-gnutella/whitelist. Gtk-Gnutella will
then try to connect to these (periodically). You can either
specify hostnames or raw IP addresses. If you don't specify a
port number, Gtk-Gnutella will connect to them but only
prefer incoming connections from these. An example:

Of course, specifying highly-dynamic IP addresses is
pointless and should not be done.
