[Gtk-cocoa-devel] design choice

Hi,

I wonder what was the motivation of

1/ starting with gtk1.2 instead of gtk2 (no one use Gtk 1.2 anymore)

2/ implementing widgets in Cocoa instead of just implementing Gdk....

BTW, there seems to be build files in the CVS (shouldn't) and that all 
file are addressed using an absolute path, making the project file 
unusable..... I filed 2 bugs for that.

This looks great.  What version of gtk are you aiming for?  I started 
updating gtk-quartz a while ago for gtk-2.4, but it got too messy with 
the seperate CVS trees.  How do you want to compensate for gtk being a 
moving target?
